Land

Usage of land is difficult to measure. We almost never take land away,or add more land. Usually we just change the way we use it. In place of rainforest we create farms, or we change farms into landfills. The amount of land did not change, but its quality, value, and role in to ecosystem did. Thus it would be more precise to have separate resource for each land use, assign different importance numbers to them, and track the changes from one form to another. This category will be use when there is no other appropriate category, and will signify removal of the land area from its "natural" state.
